Companion Planting

We look at what works and how to help it work best. Old gardening lore is full of companion planting ideas. In some cases science has confirmed the reliability of old experience. Usually there are a few tricks to maximising the benefits of this companion planting.

Does broccoli love lettuce and tomato and do carrots love onions? Yes but for quite different reasons.

To create harmony in your garden or cropping farm this year, join us for this science and experience based workshop on companion planting. Including the practicalities of intercropping and the FABulous nature of Functional Agricultural Biodiversity.

June 10th (Thursday) and 12th (Saturday) 2004 (10AM - 2PM)
